Charlotte’s teaching career in voice and music education spans the state and independent sectors from primary to professional levels in the UK and Spain. Since 2000, Charlotte has combined running a private studio with a variety of freelance projects in education and for the business world. Her clients include Skyros Holistic Holidays, Royal Bank of Scotland, GlaxoSmithKline, Goldsmiths College London, Brighton University, Chichester University and The Soundwaves Festival.


As a singer Charlotte has enjoyed a career encompassing opera, oratorio, and recital, pop and jazz bands and studio session singing. In recent years, she has focused on work as a mezzo-soprano soloist. Highlights in include, Tarik O’Regan’s Ecstasies Above (Brodsky Quartet & Brighton Festival Chorus), studio recording of A Buried Flame by Ed Hughes, Dvorak Stabat Mater (Crowborough Choral Society), Rutter Feel the Spirit (Mid Sussex Choir), Pergolesi Stabat Mater, (Corelli Ensemble). Mozart Requiem (Mid Sussex Choir), Elgar Sea Pictures (Essex Symphony Orchestra).

Estill Voice Practitioner

Charlotte was introduced to Jo Estill’s work in 2000 by her singing teacher Paul Farrington. She subsequently spent a number of years studying with and interning for Paul and Anne Marie Speed. In 2005 she became a Certified Master Teacher. Between 2005 and 2011 she interned and presented on Level I & II courses with Helen Rowson in Liverpool, Madrid, Barcelona and Galicia, Spain, for Anne-Marie Speed in London and more recently for Kim Steinhauer at University of California, PA, USA in preparation for her Certified Course Instructor's Certification which she received in 2011. Charlotte now produces annual Level I & II courses in London and Brighton, CFP and CMT certification pathways and a variety of one day workshops throughout the year. As a CCI with Testing Privilages she is a qualified Estill examiner.
